Ingredients
400g pork tenderloin
1 cup cornstarch
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp ketchup
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
vegetable oil
salt
white pepper
Steps
Cut pork into 1-inch cubes and season with salt and white pepper
Beat eggs and coat pork cubes in egg, then dredge in cornstarch
Deep fry pork in oil at 350°F (175°C) until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes
Remove pork and set aside
In a bowl, mix sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and ketchup to make the sauce
Heat oil in a wok, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant
Add bell peppers and stir-fry for 1 minute
Pour in the sauce and bring to a boil
Add the crispy pork and toss to coat evenly
Cook for 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens
Serve immediately with steamed rice
