Ingredients

  • Pork tenderloin 500g
  • Bell pepper 1
  • Pineapple 1 cup
  • Carrot 1
  • Egg 1
  • Cornstarch 3 tbsp
  • All-purpose flour 3 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil 1 cup
  • Sugar 3 tbsp
  • Vinegar 3 tbsp
  • Ketchup 3 tbsp
  • Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Garlic 3 cloves

Steps

  1. Cut pork: Cut pork tenderloin into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Make batter: Mix flour, cornstarch, and egg to create a smooth batter.
  3. Coat pork: Dip each pork cube evenly into the batter.
  4. Heat oil: Heat oil to 175°C (350°F).
  5. Fry pork: Deep fry pork until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain.
  6. Make sauce: In a bowl, mix sugar, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, and a little water.
  7. Stir-fry aromatics: Heat 1 tbsp oil, add minced garlic and vegetables. Stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  8. Add sauce: Pour in the sauce mixture and bring to a boil.
  9. Combine: Add fried pork pieces, quickly toss to coat evenly.
  10. Serve: Serve immediately with steamed rice.

Tips: 1) Make sure oil is hot enough before frying; 2) Double-fry for extra crispiness; 3) Add vegetables in order of cooking time; 4) Serve immediately for best texture.
